Hello,
This weekend is the Gathering - thousands of people of Scottish decent returning to the Homeland. The Parade from Holyrood to the Castle was on this evening. Bagpipes and tartans abound with a great atmosphere. Weird bits included the booing from the crowd of the Clan Campbell (bad reputation), one unfriendly member of the Clan Wallace slyly flipping me the bird when I shouted "Freedommmm!” Some unfortunate names included "Strange", while one man carried a board with the word "Wood" and a poor middle aged woman with the word "Young". 
My own, the clan McNooClan, were not there as we are still trying to get Christopher Lambert to recognise that he is our clan chief. There can be only one.
