Oooo rant rant rant - David Starkey has finally, after much effort, joined the ranks of the Celt haters to get some attention. :roll: Unfortunately this also ties in with a lot of other celebs who attract attention through behaving badly. The real loser is what they study e.g. Ramsey/Cooking (slipping off the culinary radar), Clarkson/cars, and now Starkey/history. Of course there are people like Attenborough and Delia Smith who are in a different league or different planet in many positive ways.

But some mediocre celebs have a thing against the Celts. Why? Its a centuries old prejudice and you probably couldn’t pick on anyone else these days. Fortunately its a bit out of fashion - after Ann Robinson asked "what are the Welsh for?" nobody has said anything original, spontaneous or shocking enough for people to really care about.

Of course there will be people who will react but I think its history.
