Hello,
Today I am going to write about the terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India.
I listened to shocking news this morning about the terrible events in Mumbai. The Guardian states that more than 80 people have been reported dead and many more injured. Experts believe that this is the work of al-Qaeda. Many British and American citizens were targeted by the gunmen.
The war against terror is again under examination and there will probably be a great deal of speculation over its effectiveness over the next few days and weeks. Its not like a conventional war and there has probably not been anything like it in the past (except maybe the war against drugs). Do security forces across the world get enough financial support? The British Army doesnt and thats in the glare of media attention!!
